ArtVentures|3:18, established by Mia Mary Robinson in 2001, emerged from her vision to bring the joy of art and a sense of achievement to children, aiming to foster creativity, teach life coping skills, and preserve their childhood essence. The main objective is to help local and homeschooled young individuals uncover and nurture their talents in visual arts, allowing them to express themselves creatively, build self-assurance, develop creative thinking, embrace taking artistic risks, and cultivate personal responsibility. These skills extend to career growth, environmental consciousness, positive self-perception, and versatile artistic proficiency applicable to various academic subjects and life situations. Mrs. Mia is committed to delivering engaging, professional art guidance in a supportive, friendly atmosphere for children, teenagers, and adults. The diverse curriculum encompasses traditional art training across various mediums, art appreciation, and a passion for learning. In a studio enriched with an extensive art library, still life resources, digital art tools, quality supplies, as well as outdoor drawing and painting spaces, ArtVentures offers a comprehensive program, including an inventive K-12 curriculum aligned with National Standards for Visual Arts Education. The enjoyable, educational classes immerse students in drawing, painting, sculpture, mosaic creation, printmaking, collages, and more. Art is introduced as a means for students to explore new facets of themselves, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving abilities by genuinely expressing their distinct perspectives, leading to unexpected and gratifying outcomes. ArtVentures|3:18's philosophy acknowledges that creativity is inherent in humans, reflecting our divine nature. By engaging in creative acts, we emulate the Creator, bringing His presence and magnificence to the world, ultimately fulfilling our purpose.

About Our Studio
God created us to be creative beings. The more we create, the more we are like Him. We bring His presence and glory to this world when we, in His likeness, create. This brings Him much glory, which is our purpose.
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things,
and for thy pleasure, they are and were created.” Revelation 4:11 (KJV)

About Mia Robinson

Mrs. Mia was born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida with an interest in art and education and was fortunate at an early age to have four very important artistic mentors (her mother, Mrs. Jacquelyn G. Moore, and her Uncles Maceo, & Edward Golson and Kathryn Jackson of Panama City Beach Fl. who were a great influence in helping her realize her passion for the visual arts. . During her time in college, classroom training, and a six-year assignment in the Air Force, she became increasingly interested in sharing her knowledge and passion for art, as her mentors had with her. Because of the support and encouragement of theirs and other mentors that came along, she decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education and the Visual Arts. As a result of this interest, she began to teach classes. Mrs. Mia quickly realized how rewarding her work with children and young adults was, and at that point, she decided to dedicate herself entirely to teaching the visual arts. After eleven years of teaching in Panama City, Florida, and Bellevue, Nebraska; she opened her own studio in Southern Maryland. She has held classes in the Waldorf area, Cheltenham, Md and at the C.H.E.F. Homeschool group in Accokeek, MD.
